Cut his teeth in the claims arena and developed a passion for claims before broadening his horizons in management, culminating in him holding the position of Managing Director of a substantial Run-Off Company for seventeen years.
Being an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and holding the Certificate in Management from the Open University, he has demonstrated a desire for continued self-development and association with trade organisations, which promote problem solving and resolution.
His focus on legacy business and in particular latent disease, environment liability and health hazard has given a wide perspective on intricacies of policy interpretation, legal analysis and policyholder expectations. Successfully participated in many committees established to shape the way the Market collectively addressed the resolution and challenges of APH and LMX spiral matters. Being a non-executive director of London Market Claims Services, he ensured that smooth and successful communication within the London Market on latent matters continued effectively.
