Must be willing to travel Overseas and be flexible to go at short notice.
Supporting two construction projects in Sweden, you will be reporting to the Contracts Director, with your day to activity being directed by our Project Manager.
You will be taking responsibility for ensuring compliance with Company policies and procedures. You will be looking after financial administration and financial reporting works. Specifically, your duties will include:
* Variation and Change management
* Cash Flow
* Applications for Payment
* Financial Reporting
* Sub-contract management
* Supplier management
* Programme monitoring
* Contractual notifications
* Delay and disruption claim
The role will require flexibility on location, with most of your time split between the UK and wider Europe. Travel, accommodation and your daily living costs will be reimbursed in accordance with company policy.
Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
This role would suit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveying who is a self-starter. You will need to be able to hold your own and negotiate effectively, whilst maintaining good relationships with the Customer,
A degree in Quantity Surveying and RICS / IACCM accreditation would be preferred.
Relevant experience in quantity surveying; knowledge of commercial procedures and standard contract conditions within the construction industry would be advantageous. The project uses a bespoke form of contract and therefore detailed contractual law knowledge will be essential, however legal support will be available locally.
