The business has undergone tremendous success over the past 5 years and is now setting up an additional brand-new manufacturing facility to meet the increasing company growth and customer demand.
The purpose of the role is to be the expert consultant in the set up of the new manufacturing facility, with an intended completion date of July 2019.
You will be integral in the planning, management, execution and start-up of the new facility, ensuring the production capability is in line with forecasted demand plus ensure all requirements to relevant standards and food production regulations are met.
You will be a driven and proven operations or senior production Project Manager with strong experience in setting up new manufacturing facilities within the food manufacturing industry, A background of working within the confectionery product sector is essential. You will be an expert in the set up and lay out of food production machinery to optimise work flow plus be proficient in providing onsite workforce training of manufacture processes.
The Interim Factory Project Manager job is based in the South East region and is paying £250 – £350 per day (negotiable) according to individual skills and previous experience. This is an interim contract with a duration of approximately 3 months.
