My client an NHS Trust based in the South East is looking for an experienced data analyst and health informatics professional to help contribute to the Trust’s information and reporting strategy, whilst delivering a strong delivery function on mandatory reporting cycles as the Associate Director of Informatics. You will be managing the day-to-day running of the information department, whilst supporting and advising the senior management team. The service will also include Performance Reporting, Coding and Data Quality.
This is an exciting opportunity to define current processes, encourage discussions and advise colleagues on best practice.
Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring data collection and reporting tools are working efficiently.
Improve the Trust’s current reporting framework.
Drive the Trust’s informatic strategy as well as national strategies.
Provide a leadership role for the Informatics Department.
Lead and implement informatic projects, ensuring key stakeholder engagement with these programmes.
Lead the analysis of data and performance.
The successful candidate will be / have:
A senior data analyst.
A strong leader, who has led similar NHS Informatic Departments in the past.
Knowledge of performance management tools.
Proven track record of implementing service improvement projects.
Recognised Health Informatics qualification or equivalent experience.
