A Local Government organisation in London are seeking a Data and Compliance Technician to carry out the collection validation, inputting, manipulating, extracting and analysing of asset and compliance data, in preparation for a new cloud-based Asset & Compliance Database.
The project to replace the system is ongoing and in preparation for this they are looking for support to collate their data in preparation for the data migration.
You will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining data relating to stock condition and compliance management within the Councils housing stock. The post holder will assist the Asset & Compliance Lead Officer to produce asset information and reports in a variety of formats, obtain information from contractors, and provide performance information for monitoring purposes.
Collecting, validating, inputting, manipulating, extracting and analysing asset data.
Planning, designing, commissioning and managing ongoing programmes of stock condition surveys.
Obtaining stock condition and component renewal information in different formats and from a variety of sources and ensuring the information is input or loaded into the Councils ‘Asset Database’ in a timely and accurate manner.
Obtaining and maintaining compliance information for Asbestos, Gas, Electrical, Lifts & Hoists, Fire Safety, Water Quality, Etcetera.
Ensuring that address lists remain accurate and up to date. To include the addition of properties through acquisition or new build and the disposal of properties through demolition, sale or Right to Buy.
Experience with MS SQL and SSRS
Experience with VBA
Experience with MS Office and Google Suite
Computer and technical skills (including software knowledge and experience of using Asset & Compliance Databases and Registers)
